In this final video of the series, Jon and Lauren explore the times that we need to name what we desire to be healed. When do we need to be persistent in our healing journey? In the Gospel lesson, Jesus asks the blind man, “what do you want me to do for you?” and we in turn, ask you, “what do you want from Jesus?”

This is a hard one for me. When I was growing up my needs was not acceptable to be voice or ask for. I was taught to comfort and be a caregiver to others. That I was not important enough to receive help, comfort or just plain time to be heard. I would always be expected to put others needs before my own. That it was a weakness to ask for help.
First glance was how the blind man trusted Jesus to touch him.
He believed and had faith that a miracle would happen. But if it did not happen he at least was not afraid to ask.
For myself I believe in prayers and must trust that maybe what I need is what is not right for me at that moment in time. I struggle with this every time but must have faith that God knows what is good for me and accept the outcome.
Thank you for these series it has given me a better understanding of the gospel.
Take care and a blessed Easter.
