In this episode we reflect on a Gospel passage in which a group of friends go to great lengths to bring a paralyzed person to Jesus to receive his healing love. Jon and Lauren explore when we feel paralyzed in our life. What is it that needs healed? Sometimes we need others to help us reach out for healing.

Loved the image, especially the huge smile on the gentlemen in the center.
There are many forms of being paralyzed like in our Mind, Body and Spirit.
In my life I have been paralyzed by fear. Fear on what to do, to feel and what actions to take. Fear of being hurt. Fear of trusting. Fear to ask for help because I would be showing how helpless I feel and be open for more criticism.
Through prayer it has help me to take the first step to find ways to cope and heal.
In the Art I saw how faith heals. How the support of family and friends can help and end the fear within. Faith and prayers is the key to healing.
How beautiful and merciful our world could become if as a community we ensured open access to all who seek inclusion and healing. I am reminded of the Americans with Disabilities Act and how many ways we could build upon that good work.
Thank you, Eugenia. Yes, we do have the building blocks to create such community if only we have the will. As we live more deeply out of our faith. there is the possibility.
