How do our senses lead us to wisdom? Or can they? Which of your senses do you associate with wisdom? We will discuss these and other questions as we continue our series “Seeking Wisdom.” We’ve already taken a look at the wisdom of King Solomon and considered that his wisdom was a gift from God. Then we moved to the story of a dialogue between Jesus and Nicodemus where we recognized that wisdom was something that came to Nicodemus over the course of time. We discovered through the story of Mary ‘s devotion, relationship and love for Jesus that wisdom empowers us to live out God’s will, no matter the cost. Last week in the story of the Joseph and his brothers we recognized how our emotions might lead us to insight and wisdom. Today we will reflect on the role our senses play in attaining wisdom as we explore what happened with the apostles on the Day of Pentecost. Thank you for another beautiful devotion. The reading at the end and painting were lovely.
I feel it’s was a mind, body and soul experience.
Our Mind is trying to understand what is happening.
Our body senses of what the wind is doing to cause all kind of emotions.
Like fear, happiness, forgiveness and also let’s us know that we are not alone in this journey.
Our soul is trying to focus and understand the need to be patient for the answer.
Time and knowledge will lead to Wisdom.
Each week leave me with thoughts I never explore before.
Thanks 🙏
